Harris Corporation announced Monday it has developed a new night vision weapon scope for the military.
Harris unveiled the new F7030 clip-on night vision weapon sight, touting it as "one of the most sensitive and advanced night vision scopes available."
The sight was developed with Knight’s Armament Company (KAC), adding a lightweight design and new battery life that allows for more than 24 hours of continuous operation.
“This partnership brings together more than 100 collective years of experience between Harris in image intensification/night vision and KAC in weapon sights, allowing us to provide a solution that no one else can,” said Erik Fox, president, Harris night vision business.
Harris has developed several military contracts within the U.S, including with the Army and Navy for radios.
