The Republic of Korea Marine Corps (RoKMC) has begun training its counterparts from the Philippines on the Korean Amphibious Assault Vehicle (KAAV).

Images released by the RoKMC via its official social media channel on 31 October indicate that the training include a simulator-based activity, as well as operations on land and at sea.

The Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) is currently anticipating the delivery of eight KAAVs from South Korean defence company Hanwha Techwin.
