Maj Gen Minh also highlighted Vietnam’s attendance at Indo Defence as being the first time that Vietnam’s defence industry had promoted its products at an international exhibition. The move, he said, is indicative of Vietnam’s expanding ambitions.

“We already export some defence products,” he said. “But now we are looking to expand exports and have deeper collaboration with customers.
